Family at the Heart of Leadership

Family is at the heart of Mike Friend’s life. Mike and his wife, Hayley, a former Broward County elementary school teacher, have built a loving home in Davie’s Forest Ridge community. Together, they’ve raised three incredible children—Jayden, Liam, and Myla—who’ve all attended local schools and embody the values of hard work and kindness. Rounding out their family are two adorable golden doodles, Penny and Chandler.

Mike’s dedication to family inspires his passion for creating a brighter, stronger future for the families of District 102.
